GIS Analyst

Job Summary

Our client is seeking to employ a GIS Analyst with desktop and mobile solutions experience as well as some solid programming skills.

In this role you will be joining a small but highly experience site based Spatial Team.  The primary role is both corporate and site support for various aspects involved in the implementation and maintenance reporting of assets and facilities.

The successful candidate should also have the following skills;

· Proven GIS experience in ESRI or other leading spatial software for both desktop and mobile solutions.

· Preferential experience in Assets Management, and Imagery Processing

· Methodical approach to collecting, cleansing, matching and verifying large quantities of data from varying sources

  • Strong experience with Excel and Access, including manipulation of data and minor programming
  • Some experience with Oracle SQL+ or similar
  • Availability and willingness to work on a time-off rotating roster

 

· Prior remote site, offshore or mining experience would is essential



About this job

This is an ongoing contract role and would suit those with a GIS or possibly a Database Administration background.

You will be an Australian or New Zealand Resident/Citizen and be available for an interview in Brisbane or Melbourne on 2-3 days notice.
